Open books
I’ve always like O’Reilly Press, but I didn’t realize that they are breaking new ground with a whole section of their enterprise that consists of “open books,” or books with a variety of open copyright licenses (many of which were developed by the Creative Commons). One of the most recent is a new book by Dan Gilmour entitled “We the Media” about participatory grassroots journalism.
