Tools for an open civil society

Andy Carvin has a great post suggesting ways to put mobile technology to use in support of more open civil societies. Among other things he picks up on Susan Mernit’s idea that all media organizations ought to post their coverage of this year’s political conventions to the Internet Archive, making them widely accessible for creative use.
