More on the passion

It’s fascinating praying through Lent at the same time as Gibson’s film winds its way through pop culture. I keep coming across interesting websites that offer further perspectives. Mary Hinkle does a nice piece on the Luke 4:1-13 text (the Devil as tempter), and AKMA lays down some groundwork for his own review (once he’s finally seen it). Maybe I’ll finally have a chance to see it for myself this weekend.
