David Weinberger has posted a short little interview he did a year or so ago in which he talks about why making something explicit can destroy it, or at least damage it. He connects this to the process of content management and meta-data (a challenge which my partner struggles with a lot), and I finally “get” a piece of what both he, and Eric, have been talking about.
