Replacement panic
AKMA is musing on what he terms “replacement panic” — “a spontaneous reaction to positive assessments of online technology — that digital media will supplant physical interactions.” He has a number of reasons why he doesn’t succumb to this particular fear, reasons I agree with, but I can’t help wondering if this kind of fear is deeper in theologically engaged communities?
