Faith formation should start young
Many people (myself included) have argued for years now that faith formation begins at a very early age, and takes place primarily at home. Researchers such as Anna Maria Rizzuto have argued this from within the neopsycho-analytic object relations framework, and now George Barna (he of the sociological research frame) is doing so, too. Perhaps more interesting is the Search Institute’s research on the developmental assets in support of young people of color.
