Blessing same sex partnerships

In all of the "hoo ha" over blessing marriages amongst people of the same gender, there are all sorts of claims being made about how the Episcopal church in the US has isolated itself from other mainline churches. Lost in the din are the churches all over the world who have already, quietly and thoughtfully, moved in this direction. The United Church of Canada, for instance. They have a rich site that looks at a number of the issues involved.
