Finnish design

One last quick note: as I was wondering around downtown Jyvaskala one afternoon, I saw some absolutely beautiful glassware and flatware. I considered buying a few of the candleholders and bringing them home, but I was worried about how fragile they might be in my luggage, and they also seemed kind of expensive (although I will admit I’m not so good at the math of converting Euros to dollars). And just now, in an effort to show Eric what I had seen, I found on the web a store that specializes in Finnish design. Wonder of wonders — should I be surprised? — it’s located here in Minneapolis.
