Important films to view

Lately Adán has been pointing off to a number of important independent films. I find myself wanting to create a list and start a film festival. But what I really need to do, I think, is figure out who in town is already running such festivals and see if we can show these films there. Film viewing really requires an audience to make it “whole,” becoming communion/community in the process. It makes me grateful that there are people around like Adán who can help us to find these pieces! He is, himself, a gifted producer, and I have used his “Beyond Borders: Ministry in a Multicultural World” in a number of settings.
