David Weinberger, multisubjectivity and Vienna…

/ 24 May 2003

David Weinberger, whose book “Small Pieces, Loosely Joined” is one of my favorites, is currently in Vienna at a European conference on weblogs. I have to say I’m jealous! Vienna is a wonderful city, and even though I was just there (in April), I miss it already. David made a brief comment in his blog about “multi-subjectivity” and some of the comments to it point off to some interesting additional reading. More and more I’m beginning to find that weblogs make sense to people who AREN’T digital gurus, which is surely a sign that they are a potent form of cultural construction, not simply yet another form of “insider talk” (although they can be that at times, too).
