The continuity of change

/ 5 May 2003

Douglas Rushkoff has started an interesting thread in his blog about the “continuity of change” within Judaism (cf. May 2 in particular). He is musing about Judaism as an “open source” religion. I’m curious whether I could make some similar arguments about Christianity. I agree with his assertion, or at least resonate with it if I pose it in Christianity, that “and those of us who have friends who have responded to certain forms of Jewish outreach [I’d add Christian], well, it feels to many of us like we’ve lost these people to an odd form of ethnocentrism.”
