Web-based reality ark?

Given the lectionary readings for this week — heavy on Noah and the ark — it might just be time for, yes, “The Ark,” an “internet reality game show, set on the world’s most famous floating zoo.” I kid you not! But actually, I was more intrigued by the site that is hosting it, “Ship of fools.com”, “the magazine of Christian unrest.” It’s an intriguing mix of active reflection and pop-comic satire. You can find the latest in Christian “gadgets” — including a bobble-head Martin Luther, should you be so inclined — as well as “mystery worshipper” reports from worship services across the globe. There are also a number of active web-discussions, on a host of issues, and a running list of links to current religious news stories of various kinds. Definitely a site I’ll be returning to.
