Thinking about study bibles

Every so often I have a brief conversation with someone about which study bible they might want to purchase. Most of the time I think about the translation first, and then I look at things like what kinds of study helps are included, and how legible is the print. Here’s an interesting resource, up at the Protestants for the Common Good site, which is taking study bibles one at a time and exploring and reviewing them.
