Most vulnerable left to sink or swim

CommonDreams has an excellent essay up about the disproportionate burden that global climate change is already placing on the world’s minorities and indigenous peoples. I was privileged to hear Meena Ramon speak recently on that topic at Luther, and proud to discover that the Lutheran World Federation and Oxfam have been working hard on this issue. And lest you begin to feel that all of these challenges are overwhelming, take the time to listen to the Westminster Town Hall forum presentation by Jan Egeland. He actually had some upbeat news to share, while still acknowledging the challenges the world faces.
