Middle East dialogue quilt

/ 14 March 2008

Back when I lived in Ohio I was always amazed and inspired by the wonderful quilts my mother-in-law commissioned. I loved to hear the stories about how the quilts were made, and to take note of all of the handmade stitches that were part of every one. Now here are some pictures of a quilt that was made explicitly as part of a process of dialogue around Israeli-Palestinian conflict. What a wonderful story!
