Taking a baby to work…

Reading this post (from Fidelia’s Sisters, a group of young clergy women), reminded me of being in graduate school. I still remember my first doctoral seminar, when Alex came along in his portable carseat, and spent most of the three hour class either asleep, or being passed from arm to arm. I think the experiences this young clergy woman talks about should become more the norm than the exception, but I’ve heard enough stories from former students to know that we’ve still got a LONG way to go….
