St. Theresa’s prayer

/ 21 June 2007

I hardly ever — basically NEVER — forward on emails that are sent to me as “chain” letters. But I just received one from my sister (who is deeply grateful for her husband’s liver transplant), and so I figure I can send this on via my blog (it might not be quite the same thing, but stil…). Anyway, here is St. Theresa’s prayer (as in Mother Theresa):

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

May the peace of the Good beyond Being, the Beloved, and the Holy Spirit be with you always.

PS: That's Wendy Farley's version of the Trinity.
