Gently falling snow

It’s been snowing all day here — the really large, soft, dry flakes that come when it’s cold enough but not too windy. I LOVE this kind of weather, particularly when I don’t have to drive anywhere in it, and I have lots of household chores to do, anyway. We haven’t had this kind of snow this early in November in a long time, even though this is supposed to be pretty normal for this time of year. It bodes well for a white Christmas!
