St. Patrick’s Four

/ 22 August 2005

I have only just now heard about this case, but apparently a group of people who did a nonviolent act of civil disobedience prior to the start of the Iraq War, the St. Patricks’ Four — and who were originally acquitted via hung jury in their first trial — are now being brought up on federal charges that carry a huge penalty. There is a letter up on the web that you can sign to support them, and more information available there. I suspect that their acts now will appear to far more people to be courageous, and so the further we can spread the word, the better.
