Choosing courage

/ 7 June 2005

I just picked up a little book written by the author of Diet for a Small Planet, and already I love it! It’s entitled “You have the power: Choosing courage in a culture of fear,” and one of the central theses of this little book (it’s only 220 pages long, and done in half the size of most books) is that:

"Our future may depend on whether we can achieve a radical shift in our inherited view of fear, whether we can learn to see fear with new eyes. Rather than a warning that something is wrong, fear in certain circumstances can come to mean that something is just right, that we're doing precisely what is true to our deepest wisdom."

So… I’ll let you know what I’m learning!
