And here’s a blog I think I’m going to start reading more regularly. The post that made me pay attention is this one, which talks about starting points for theology:

"...these theologians sought to start their theologies not with timeless ideas and questions of knowledge and truth, but rather they started with the lived experience of believers. For them the departure point of faith was not abstract concepts about faith, but rather practical struggles with faith. Therefore the primary questions are not philosophical and ideological, but cultural and ethical."

I'm not yet convinced -- even cultural and ethical issues have philosophical edges to them -- but I think he's on the right track and worth reading a bit more.
