New head of the CDOF

Thanks to Jane for pointing to these two pieces on Archbishop Levada, who has just been named by Ratzinger to replace him, that is, to be the new head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Both pieces are from the San Francisco Chronicle. (Levada has been Archbishop in San Francisco). The first one takes a look at Levada’s responses to the issue of child sexual abuse and the the second one explores his work in San Francisco more generally.
