Holy Father actively awaiting death

I find myself repeatedly moved to tears today, in ways that surprise me, as I listen to the news coverage coming out of the Vatican. As much as I have disagreed — and at times even despaired — at the decisions coming from the Vatican, I still revere John Paul II as a human person who has had an enormous impact on our world. There is something very powerful about entering into this process of waiting and grieving with people all over the world.
