Tsunami information

/ 8 January 2005

There has been so much information, so many stories, flying across the Net about the disasters of the tsunami, that I’ve been captivated reading them and haven’t blogged. But today I finally have a moment to point to some of these sites. By far the most comprehensive — and balanced — of the sites I’ve been reading can be found at the Wikipedia. It’s “filed” under “2004 Indian ocean earthquake,” and includes a huge amount of information contributed from around the world (videos, photos, live discussion fora, etc.). There is also rich and deep information and resources available at the Digital Divide Network. Finally, amongst the plethora of weblogs, there’s a new one that’s sponsored by the National Council of Churches and FaithfulAmerica.org, written by two people currently visiting the region.
