Praying for the dead, praying for peace

In addition to going to one of the hundreds of vigils planned across the US tonight, marking the more than 1000 US soldiers who have died in the Iraq conflict, take some time to visit the NYTimes multimedia site. They have an interactive graphic with pictures and information on more than 900 of these soldiers. The experience of visiting this site is powerful. The only response I have, and even that seems a small thing, is to pray for peace.
