Candlelight vigils

Moveon.org and others are calling for candlelight vigils tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 9) evening. The last time they did this it was one of the most powerful rituals I’d been to in a long time. This week they are asking people to remember the more than 1000 soldiers who have died in the Iraq conflict. I think we can also remember all of the others who have died in this ill-conceived war. There are several planned for the Twin Cities, and hundreds more across the nation.
