FFFBI

/ 31 July 2004

Saturday morning is a lazy time in our household, with our kids knowing that they have to allow their old parents to lay around in bed until at least 8:00 am. Usually Nathaniel hops off to watch cartoons, but this morning his plea was — “please, Mom, can we do something fun? Will you play FFFBI with me?” FFFBI stands for the “Fin, fur and feather bureau of investigation,” and is a project of WGBH of Boston’s interactive division. It’s won all sorts of awards, but the key in our household is that Nathaniel would rather play its games than watch cartoons. Pretty cool! It also has enough sly humor to entice parents like me into helping out.
