Hetch Hetchy expedition

Starting on July 19th an intrepid group of students aged 14-18 and their three adult leaders will be exploring the watershed and surrounding area of the Hetch Hetchy reservoir in the Sierra Nevada mountains. This is a reservoir that provides water to San Francisco, and it is crumbling. The group intends to explore the area and the issues that arise in relation to the resource of water by interviewing dozens of people, taping the interviews, putting up photos, and maintaining a blog.
