Catholics for Kerry

My brother-in-law is interested in participating in a Catholics for Kerry group — anyone out there know if one exists? I found a Yahoo group, but not much else so far. Why would Catholics support Kerry when there are US bishops saying they won’t serve him communion? Well, take a look at the principles of Catholic social teaching, and then decide which platform (the Republicans or the Democrats, since they’re the only viable ones this election) fits better. It’s clear to me that the Democratic platform is much closer and more consistently in tune with Catholic social teaching. That doesn’t mean it matches up item for item, but it does mean it does more to protect the “seamless web of life.”
