Back home again

I’m back home again from my meanderings, and hopefully now my weblog will come back to life. I think this has been my longest period of silence since I began the thing more than a year ago. I’m way too tired tonight to write much, but one quick link to a project that I learned about while I was in Amsterdam — Caritas, in England and Wales — which promotes Catholic social action. I really like their mission statement: “ We are a federation of organizations and individuals who are involved in the relief of poverty, the promotion of social justice, and community development for the benefit of people of all faiths and none.”
