What now?

While all the political pundits try to figure out what it means now that Dean has suspended campaigning, I intend to keep my eyes and ears open for ways to continue to support the energy and commitment to change that Dean has stood for in this cycle. Several people have pointed out that the more Dean delegates that are going to, and active in, the national convention, the better chance we have of getting our ideas into the process there. Dean’s still on the ballot in Minnesota. I think I will still vote for him on March 2nd. There aren’t any choices that make me any more enthusiastic, and his blog (and the community gathered there) is still the best around! I get so much energy from the grassroots creativity that this campaign inspires — like this iMovie piece Steve Hernandez created. It brought tears to my eyes, a smile to my lips — and some renewed energy for our caucus on March 2nd.
