Walking the labyrinth

/ 6 February 2004

Every year our faith formation program at church does a “faith fair,” where people get together and do poster boards (like a science fair) on various topics that interest them in relation to faith. Our family has done the story of Jonah (building a whale out of a tent), the sacrament of reconciliation, folding palm crosses, etc. This year we’ve decided we’re going to do something that explores the practice of meditation that uses the labyrinth. Here are some of the sites we’re visiting online as we prepare: Grace Cathedral’s labyrinth site, a labryinth locator, an interview with Lauren Artress (scholar in labyrinth meditation), the labyrinth in medieval studies, the Earth Wisdom labyrinth, and an interactive online labyrinth.
