Hurray for Judith Steinberg Dean

/ 23 January 2004

I won’t even deign to link to the column Maureen Dowd wrote in the NYT a few days ago, questioning how a woman could be so involved in her career and her parenting as to not join her husband on the campaign trail. But after the Iowa caucuses, Judith Steinberg Dean had to be “trotted out” to “show her stuff” to the people. Sigh. Still, she did a great job answering ridiculous questions posed by Diane Sawyer. Salon.com has a nice piece on it, and the interview itself (video and transcript) are up at the Dean site.
