Rites of passage online resources

/ 13 November 2003

I’m deeply into the writing of a paper for AAR — yes, it should have been done by now! — and in the moments when I’m stuck, I’m digging around on the net for illustrative examples. The paper’s about using video in teaching about ritual, and so far I haven’t found much that I want to use from the web. But there are other resources I’m stumbling across, which I don’t want to lose, including: rites of passage, an ArtsEdge piece from the Kennedy Center, the Balch exhibit on rites of passage, the Whitney Museum’s portal to net art, a list of digital art collections, a brief piece for local catechists on teaching through ritual, an online workshop on teaching multi-cultural literature, a great collection of videos for teaching that engages diversity (all held at the Hamline University library here in St. Paul), and SAVAIL (at Indiana University).
