I admit it: I’m really pretty useless when it comes to numbers, let alone visualizing large numbers in appropriate ways. But here’s a web site that makes it visible, and the result is downright alarming! For instance, 87 billion dollars is more than all of the states’ current budget deficits COMBINED, and more than twice the amount we’re spending on homeland security.
