Anne Lamott has written a glorious, lyrical, down to earth, biting, human… oh, I don’t have the words for it! But she’s written a really wonderful piece about trying to love Bush the way Jesus says we have to love our enemies. I wish I could post the whole piece here. Unfortunately, it’s at Salon.com, and you can only access the whole thing by going through a huge long ad, first. Still, if you’re willing to wade through the ad, “Loving Bush, Day 2” might just be worth it.
