Five stations of the cross

/ 14 September 2003

Adán points off to five stations of the cross, prepared by the National United Methodist Women’s group. These are powerful reflections on contemporary events, through the frame of the stations. In musing about Mary Hinkle’s comment on Rick Bliese’s sermon (cf. my entry of 030911), I am reminded that (or at least wondering if?) the practice of walking the stations of the cross is perhaps a more Catholic than Protestant practice, but nonetheless powerful — as these Protestant women have demonstrated!
