Hard to believe, still…

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about Paul Gilmore being asked to leave a British Airways flight because he was wearing a button that said “suspected terrorist” on it. Lawrence Lessig has continued to follow the story, and it’s interesting reading. I’d like to find a button like that to wear myself, because in the times we’re living in right now we need to remain conscious of how many people are living under that suspicion — and how often that suspicion is utterly groundless. As Lessig notes, we should demand reasonableness from our government, particularly now.
