Community of support

With all of the mass media now speaking with one voice — even NPR — it becomes all the more important to reach out to alternative media. This morning I found myself sinking into depression, but took a moment to click over to Commondreams.org and read a few essays. My spirits are once again lifted, and I remember — along with Ira Chernus — that the peace movement has already had a major impact, and needs to continue to work for peace.
