Social innovation marketplace

/ 30 August 2013

Here’s an introduction to what Nate Garvis calls the “social innovation marketplace.” I’m not entirely sure I’m as optimistic as he is? But on the other hand, I agree with his characterization of eight underlying ideas that are not about “us vs them” but rather about “us all” (justice, safety, knowledge, compensation, environment, productivity, innovation, health). These eight can be engaged via the “cultural/symbolic” frame that Bolman and Deal talk about, with real impact.
