Joy of teaching and learning

/ 22 February 2013

In the midst of all of the loss we are dealing with at Luther (and the additional anxiety of anticipated losses still to come), I am regularly moved to joy with the work of the students taking the class Gary and I are facilitating this term.

This past week a number of them have been reflecting on participatory knowing (which regular readers of this blog will know that I care deeply about nurturing), and I am so excited to read their eloquent reflections — better than anything I could do!

Just as an example, although check out all of the blogs, look at: Amy’s piece, Matt’s piece, Rachel’s piece, and Janna’s pointer to this video:

[And to my students reading this blog — please know that I’m not trying to single out these students and forget the rest of you, I’m going to highlight different blogs each week!]
