Bringing the edge to the core

Hat tip to Bob for reminding me of this excellent post a couple of years ago by John Seeley Brown. He’s talking about bringing the edges into the core, which is remarkably similar to how bell hooks wrote of moving from the margin to the center, by engaging the margin directly.
