Awesome science fiction

/ 20 March 2010

I’m having a wonderful weekend learning experience with EL3530, here at Shalom Hill Farm. Alex came along with me, and we’ve been gifted by wise learning partners like Arland Ludden of Holy Cows, and Linden Olsen, who is on the task force that is drafting the new ELCA genetics social statement. The sky was blue all day, even though the wind was cold, and the animals were engaging. All of which resonated inside of me, as I read this reflection on a similar day over in Pennsylvania.

But of course, what spurred me to open my computer and write this blog was actually a blog post on science fiction up at the DailyKos site. I must have similar tastes to the blogger, because I agree with the wonderful choices he's made! I'm going to haunt the comments on his post, just to see if I can pick up some books I HAVEN'T read yet.
