Crosswinds Orchestra

Two nights ago we went to Nathaniel’s first orchestra concert at Crosswinds (his new school, since he just started 7th grade this year). It was wonderful! I can’t believe what a great teacher Mr. Marget is, managing to get so much good music out of these kids! They’ve only been playing since September, yet they looked and sounded way better than I remember my 9th grade orchestra sounding. That was just the beginners! There are THREE orchestras at Crosswinds — a beginning, an intermediate, and an advanced — and the ensembles with more experienced players were just amazing. You can hear them via the livestream for now, and apparently Mr. Marget will be putting up podcasts shortly.
