Mindblowing SF by women and people of color (and some women of color)

There’s been a mini-controversy going on about a recent anthology of “mind-blowing” science fiction, which contained no pieces by women, and most likely no pieces by people of color (women or otherwise). In response, the Tor.com blog has just published a lovely, long list of mind-blowing science fiction (both short stories and novels) by women and people of color (and of course, some women of color!) The only thing I would have done differently, was take the time to create active links to the author pages of all of these authors.
