Best introduction to participatory media culture

/ 17 August 2009

I’ve had people telling me for AGES that I should watch this video. But because it’s 55 minutes long, I never have. Tonight Eric started watching it, and I got hooked. I have enjoyed Michael Wesch (and his students) work for a long time, but this particular piece is simply great! Take the time, curl up with a good cup of coffee, and revel in a wonderful exploration of YouTube and participatory culture. I actually think any theologian worth their salt needs to think about what this lecture suggests about how our culture is changing.
