Better info than tv/radio on the flu epidemic

/ 27 April 2009

I can’t stand to watch tv news these days. Even the radio is not particularly helpful. Here are two sources I’ve found that appear generally reliable and informative (as always, with ANY news source, apply your critical eyes). I find the EffectMeasure blog to be very credible, and the Wikipedia article has lots of useful background. Both are updated at least once a day if not more often, and you can subscribe to the RSS feed at EffectMeasure. I’d rather get information this way, instead of the fear-mongering of the “insta-news” folk on tv.

And -- don't forget to smile!
