Poverty rates in the US

Here’s a really interesting visual representation of poverty rates in the US. Viewed as a flow — meaning, with the data changing over time — I was surprised to see a slight decline in poverty in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The data comes from the US Census Bureau.
