Carnegie Names Anthony Bryk director

/ 17 January 2008

I just noticed in the Chronicle of Higher Ed that the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has named Anthony Bryk as its new executive director. I have long respected — and enjoyed reading — the work of its current director, Lee Shulman. I am excited that Carnegie has made such a great choice for its new director, as I have also long admired Anthony Bryk’s work (particularly on the importance of relational trust in school change).
