Success story on author’s rights

/ 5 January 2008

Jonas Barciauskas, whom I remember as a really excellent theological reference librarian when I was a graduate student at BC, shares a success story of negotiating better author rights when dealing with an academic journal. He was clearly helped by the Boston Library Consortium’s agreement to extend author’s rights. I need to see if we can work on something similar at Luther — or maybe someone’s already done it in the Cities more generally? There certainly are a lot of colleges and universities here.
